- Venting Design – HRV-ERV
- Floor Warming & Snow Melting
4HVAC Design is here to assist Architects, Builders and Individual Property owners with all the necessary documentation set out by the Ontario Building Code to submit a heating design package for a building permit. We provide “Heating Plans” for “New Construction”,” Addition Renovation” and also “Primary Heating System” change over, for example “Electric Baseboard Heating” to “Forced Air Heating System”.
Once we receive the “Architectural drawings/ Blueprints” for the proposed property in an AutoCAD or PDF format the design process begins. First we will provide an accurate heat-loss, heat-gain calculation based on the drawing information provided. A site visit may be required if drawings are unavailable.
From the heat-loss, heat-gain values we then determine the size of the heating equipment required to properly maintain the interior design temperatures. From the equipment selected we then use the manufacture specifications for design air flows required for the equipment, this will determine the size of the ductwork required to properly distribute the air required throughout the home.
Design package will include a Heat-Loss Heat Gain Calculations summary sheet, Individual Room Calculation work sheets, AutoCAD drawing of the proposed Duct System Layout including all duct sizes. A Ventilation Design Summary sheet and an Energy Efficiency Design Summary form, also a Schedule One form that will provided the designers info and qualifications required for a final review.
